Biography
Betty Garde was an actress with a strong presence in film throughout her Hollywood career. Garde began her career with roles in "Call Northside 777" (1948) with James Stewart, "Cry of the City" (1948) with Victor Mature and "Caged" (1950) with Eleanor Parker. She went on to act in "The Prince Who Was a Thief" (1951), "The World of Mister Sweeny" (NBC, 1953-55) and the Anne Baxter dramatic adaptation "One Desire" (1955). She also appeared in "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964) and "The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm" (1962) with Laurence Harvey. Later in her career, Garde appeared in "All the Way Home" (NBC, 1971-72). Garde's husband was Frank Lennon. Garde passed away in December 1989 at the age of 84.
